Billy McKenna

Billy McKenna came into the bar many years ago. He was only in for a few evenings but made such an amazing impression that he was always talked about. To start of with he was a great Rangers supporter but proudly held his own right in the middle of all the Celtic fans who certainly gave him some stick!!!! But he stayed put and came in every evening to enjoy the craic, football apart. Then he proudly told us that he was married twice to the same girl, his wife who was with him at the time. They had got married in 1947, then divorced years later to remarry 50 years later to the day. Wasn´t that lovely!!! Anyway a great character with plenty of tales to tell, a true friend. It was great to meet you Billy. May you rest in peace.
